Cholinergic Neurotransmission Lab: Effects of Tacrine on Open-Field Behavior and Acetylcholinesterase activity.
Instructions for students:
1.) Read the handout provided by your professor before accessing the materials for this lab.
2.) Score the behavior first. You will not be told the treatment conditions until the end of the study to prevent experimenter bias.
3.) Score the histology second. Note the code numbers for the histology and behavior do not correspond to the same subjects. This is to prevent experimenter bias. At the end of the study you will be able to link the behavioral results to the correct histology.
4.) Decode the data (codes will be given to you by your instructor).
5.) Write your report (use the handout provided by your instructor).
